1. About Us

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between SAMUELS LOGISTICS LTD, a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company Number 17174026), whose registered office is at 43 Mold Road, Bwcle, United Kingdom, CH7 2JA (“we”, “us”, “the Company”), and any individual or business (“you”, “the Client”) who contacts us for or engages our services.

By using this website or contacting us to request services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Services

The Company provides transport support and logistics coordination services, including but not limited to:

  • Freight and pallet transport (UK-wide)
  • Same-day and time-critical courier services
  • UK-wide courier delivery
  • Logistics coordination and transport planning

All services are subject to availability, route feasibility, and agreement on pricing. We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion.

3. How to Place an Order

This website is a lead generation page only. No purchases are made directly through this website. There is no checkout, no payment gateway, and no direct purchase facility on this site.

To engage our services:

  1. Submit a quote request via our contact form, or contact us by phone or email
  2. We will respond with a tailored quote based on your shipment details
  3. Upon your written acceptance of our quote, a service agreement is formed
  4. Payment is arranged separately, via invoice, prior to or upon completion of service

A binding contract is only formed when we confirm acceptance of your order in writing (by email or message). Submission of a quote request does not constitute a contract.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted are:

  • Denominated in GBP (£)
  • Exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated
  • Valid for the period stated in the quote (typically 48 hours)
  • Subject to change if shipment details are materially altered after quote issuance

Payment terms are set out in the individual invoice. Standard terms are payment within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to require payment in advance for new clients or urgent services.

Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

No hidden fees: The price quoted is the price you pay for the agreed service. Additional charges may apply only if you materially change shipment details after confirmation (e.g., incorrect weight/dimensions, failed collections, return deliveries).

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation before collection: If you cancel an agreed service before the collection has taken place, you may do so at no charge provided you notify us with at least 2 hours' notice. Cancellations with less notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover operational costs already incurred.

Cancellation after collection: Once goods have been collected, cancellation is not possible. If return delivery is required, additional charges apply.

Refunds: Refunds for services that were not performed as agreed will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. We will endeavour to resolve any service failures promptly and fairly. Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 14 business days.

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (see Section 8).

6. Your Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipment details (weight, dimensions, contents, collection and delivery addresses)
  • Ensuring goods are properly packaged for transport
  • Confirming that goods are legal to transport and do not contain prohibited or restricted items
  • Providing any required documentation relevant to your shipment
  • Ensuring availability at the agreed collection point and delivery address

We accept no liability for loss, damage, or delay resulting from inaccurate information, improper packaging, or failure to comply with the above.

7. Liability

Our liability to you is limited as follows:

  • We will take reasonable care to ensure your goods are transported safely and on time
  • Our maximum liability for any single shipment shall not exceed the value declared at the time of booking, or the amount covered by our transport insurance, whichever is lower
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses (e.g., loss of profit or business opportunity) arising from delayed or failed delivery

We strongly recommend appropriate cargo insurance for high-value shipments. We can advise on insurance options upon request.

8. Force Majeure

We shall not be in breach of these Terms or liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from events, circumstances, or causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, road closures, traffic incidents, strikes, acts of government, or other force majeure events.

In such cases, we will notify you as soon as practicable and work to find an alternative solution.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we ask that you contact us first to allow us to resolve the matter directly:

We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 business days and resolve them within 14 business days. If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally, the matter may be referred to mediation or the courts of England and Wales.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of SAMUELS LOGISTICS LTD or used under licence. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
